School Supply Lists

2012-2013 School Supply Lists
School supplies recommended on these grade level lists are only donation suggestions; they are not mandatory purchases.
 

Kindergarten

- 1 set Crayola brand markers (skinny or broad tip)

- 2 Crayola brand glue sticks

- Pink pearl erasers

- 1 box Kleenex tissue

- 1 ream of white copy paper

- 1 bottle Crayola brand school glue, no clog tip

- 1 roll paper towels

- 1 box baby or sanitary wipes

- 1 box colored pencils


Wish items:
Seasonal stickers, squiggly eyes, jingle bells, pipe cleaners or other craft items
- 1 ream "Astrobrite" colored paper (any color)
- 1 pkg of white handled bags (baker's dozen from Michael's)
**Reminders: No pencil buddies, toys or rolling backpacks are allowed in kindergarten. All backpacks need to hang from hooks, and kindergartners do not carry heavy books.


First grade

The following items are suggested supplies to donate* during the first two weeks of school. 

Please do NOT label the supplies as they will be shared with the entire class. 

Individual teachers may request additional items to be donated.

 

1 one-inch 3-ring binder- with clear view pocket on front cover 

Cardboard shoebox with lid  (boxes will be sent home after decorated in class as a Book Box to 

     keep in Homework Spot with other school supplies)

1 pkg. of stickers (to decorate the Book Box at school)

1 dozen (sharpened, please) Ticonderoga #2 pencils 

10 small glue sticks (preferably Elmer’s or Avery) 

Two 4 oz. bottles of (preferably Elmer’s) white school glue

1 pair child-size scissors

2 white soft erasers

One 8-color set of watercolors (preferably Crayola or Prang)

One 24-count (preferably Crayola) crayons

One 8-count pack (preferably Crayola) washable markers (broad or skinny tip)

2 reams of white copy paper  (92 brightness, 145 whiteness, 20 weight, 8.5” X 11”)

1 box of tissues

1 container of disinfecting wipes or baby/hand wipes

 

 

Second Grade

#2 sharpened pencils (2 dozen)

Crayola crayons (16 count)

2 large glue sticks

Fiskar scissors

Crayola broad markers (8 ct.)

Colored pencils

Highlighter markers (2)

2 Sharpie permanent markers (regular tip)

Magic Rub erasers (2)

1  1/2” three-ring binder (2)

1 box of Kleenex

1 container of disinfecting hand wipes

1 ream of copy paper – white or astrobrite

 

 


Third Grade
1 dozen #2 pencils (sharpened)
1 pkg. pencil-top erasers
1 self-contained pencil sharpener
2 red ball-point correcting pens
2 yellow highlighters
2 black Sharpie markers
2 large glue sticks

Additional items may be suggested or requested by your child's teacher at the beginning of school.

 
 

Fourth Grade
1 or 2 inch binder
PTA Planner (bought in class 1st day- $5)
Pocket 5 subject dividers/3 hole pocket folders
The following needs to fit in a 5x9 pencil box:
Box of crayons(16 count)
Colored pencils
Pencil sharpener (small)
1 highlighter pen
1 pair of scissors
1 glue bottle
Class donations needed all year long:
1 package of wide rule lined paper
Box of Kleenex
Baby wipes
Hand sanitizer
Box of pencils(yellow #2)
Box of blue pens
Package of glue sticks


 

5th Grade
1. One-inch binder- Use only a 1 inch binder (NEED 2) Please, no fancy
binders!!
 2. 1 Set of dividers with pockets. 
3. 1 PTA Planner:
We use this every day (You can purchase the planner on the first day of school).
4. 2 Blue Pens
5. 1 Set of Colored Markers
6. 1 box of Crayons
7. 1 small Pencil Sharpener
8. 1 Pencil Pouch or SMALL Pencil Box

9. 1 Small Set of Colored Pencils ***

10. 2 Highlighter Pens ***

Community Items-Shared with the whole class. Teachers will collect
items and distribute them when needed.
1. 2 Fine Tip Sharpies-Black ***
2. 3 Packages of Graph Paper ***
3. 2 Packages of Lined Paper (NOT COLLEGE RULED)***
4. 1 Box of Inexpensive Red Pens ***
5. 1 Pair of Scissors ***
6. 2 Packages of Pencils (#2 Only) ***
7. 2 Boxes of Kleenex ***
8. 2 Boxes of Baby Wipes ***

Due to large class sizes, we will only be able to accommodate SMALL pencil boxes on desks.
